SmartShopper: Mastering Grocery Shopping with Virtual Engagement
SmartShopper redefines the retail experience by overlaying digital information onto the physical world. It helps customers navigate aisles, find nutritional information instantly, and discover deals through their smartphone camera, making shopping smarter and faster.

Brick-and-mortar stores are competing with e-commerce convenience. SmartShopper bridges this gap by bringing the data-rich experience of online shopping directly into the physical store aisle.
Challenge & Solution
The Challenge: Grocery shoppers often feel overwhelmed by choices, struggle to find specific items in large supermarkets, and lack immediate access to detailed product information (allergens, sourcing). Paper coupons are easily forgotten, and store layouts can be confusing. The client wanted a solution to increase basket size while improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
The Solution: We developed SmartShopper, an AR-powered shopping assistant.
AR Wayfinding
Users type in their shopping list, and the app generates an optimal route through the store. AR arrows overlaid on the camera feed guide them directly to the shelf location of each item.
